At Willow Elementary, reading is more than a skill—it’s a doorway to creativity, curiosity, and connection. Our Read-A-Thon is a schoolwide fundraiser that supports our Artful Learning approach while building strong, joyful readers.

What Is Willow’s Read-A-Thon?

The Read A Thon is a fun, time-limited event where students are encouraged to read as much as they can—on their own, with family, or alongside classmates. Students track their reading minutes while gathering encouragement from family and friends in the form of pledges or donations.

Read-A-Thon is one of our BIGGEST fundraisers of the year!

The focus is on participation and raising money, with a little competition. Every reader, at every level, can participate and potentially win prizes :)
